Plaster products are regularly used in figurines, plaques, lamp bases, dinnerware and other applications where strength, aesthetics, paintability and durability are critical properties. Another USG plaster product is formulated with refractive materials to give greater strength and dimensional accuracy to high-precision foundry castings. Yet another is often referred to in a generic sense as “plaster of paris.”
