An anhydrous form of calcium sulfate, it's narrow particle size distribution contributes to optimum impact properties in thermoplastics. CA-20 can be used at high loadings and consistently provides an excellent balance of properties and good surface appearance. Low Mohs hardness minimizes abrasion to processing equipment. It is ideal for food packaging applications requiring a filler with whiteness, purity and food acid resistance, and is recommended as a titanium dioxide extender in thermoplastic color concentrates. |
